It’s finally getting cold here in Michigan after hitting and breaking many warm weather records. As much as I love summer there is just nothing better than fall. I love wearing sweatshirts and having campfires. Of course, I also love pumpkin flavored things…well some things anyway. I think some of the pumpkin craziness has gotten out of control but this Trim Healthy Mama (THM) E pumpkin chili with definitely have your jumping with pumpkin delight!
Pumpkin Chili THM E
Brown the ground turkey with onion and garlic and drain and then put it all in the crockpot. You can also do this all in the instant pot without browning the ground beef if you want to. Super easy and so tasty! Definitely, a fall weather win!

Pumpkin Chili THM E
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Turkey
- 2 t Minced Garlic
- 2 t Onion Powder
- 2 Cans Great Northern Beans
- 1 Can Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes
- 1 Jar Pumpkin Salsa (or regular salsa just make sure no added sugar) I got my pumpkin salsa at Aldi's
- 1 Can Pure Pumpkin
- 1 Can Rotel with Green Chilis
- 1 T Chili Powder
- 1 T Cumin
- 1 t Sea Salt
- 1/2 t Cocoa powder
- 1 t Cinnamon
Instructions

Brown ground beef with garlic and onion powder.

Add Everything to your crockpot and set it for 4-6 hours.

Another option is to put everything in your instant pot raw meat and all.

Let it go on the soup setting medium for 30 minutes.
New Success
I have to admit I spent most of the summer at a Trim Healthy Mama (THM) stall and I was starting to get frustrated. It’s so hard when you have the strength to say no to all the ice cream and treats and then do not see results! I did a fuel cycle like I shared about a few weeks ago and that definitely helped a lot and I saw some major loss. Another thing I have been doing the past two weeks since the fuel cycle is more E meals. E meals are the higher carb lower fat meals. I’ve been trying to eat them for Breakfast and lunch at least and I again am having GREAT results. It’s so exciting!
