Do you fail on the weekends? You work so hard to eat well all week and then the weekend comes and you’re not prepared and you fail. I don’t mean you because this also happens to me.
I have found that looking forward to the weekend and having a plan helps me so much. If I’m going to a potluck or a dinner that I can bring a dish I make sure to bring at least one and usually two options that I can eat. Having great healthy options that not only you will love but everyone at the party will is a great bonus.
Spinach Artichoke Dip- THM S
Enter the world of dips…dips…they are so good so fabulous and before you know it you are in so deep you can’t stop. Many dips are not so bad by themselves but it’s what you are using to scoop them up that matters.
This spinach artichoke dip is a show stopper. Everytime I show up with this people rave about it. For me I can stick to my Trim Healthy Mama (THM) eating plan by just eating this with a spoon but it’s also nice to have the option of a scoop. I’ve listed some of my favorite THM scoops below.
Without further delay here is the recipe for this wonderful dip. I love to throw all of this into my crock pot and let the magic happen but if you don’t have the time for the crockpot you can definitely throw this together and put it in the oven also.
Another option is to cook it all and then put it through a chopper afterward if you don’t want to chop each thing individually. This also can be messy!

Spinach Artichoke Dip- THM S
Ingredients
- 14 oz Artichoke hearts drained and chopped
- 4 Cups Fresh spinach ripped or chopped into small pieces
- 4 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 Cup Real Mayonaise
- 1 Cup Grated Parm You can also use the green can kind 🙂
- 1 t Minced Garlic or 1 clove of garlic
Instructions

All you have to do is throw everything in the crockpot and let it go for as long as you can.

If you are in a hurry you can put in a pan and bake at 350 for 30 minutes

Serve with cut up joseph's pita or lavish bread, mission low carb tortilla shells, or Tostitos baked Tortilla chips

Don’t worry you can enjoy this with Tostitos baked tortilla chips, Mission low carb tortilla shells, Joseph’s pitas or lavish bread. You can also enjoy this by using pepper slices or celery to scoop it up. So relax and enjoy this wonderful THM friendly S treat.
Freeze it
When I make this up I stuff my crockpot SUPER full and then we eat it and enjoy it. When we have eaten our full I portion it out into containers and freeze it. To use just thaw it and reheat even in the microwave.
