Many of you are following this blog even though you do not know anything about Trim Healthy Mama (THM) which is totally wonderful! I appreciate your support so much and want you to know that even if you do not follow this eating plan the recipes I share on here are good and healthy for your family. It doesn’t matter if you know anything about THM or not! Please don’t let that stop you from coming back each week to see what new recipe I’m featuring.
With that being said for my THM ladies and gentleman you will want to make this recipe as soon as possible. Everyone that does THM knows that it is NOT an easy “drive thru Sue” type of eating plan. This plan takes planning and work. Sometimes that makes us fail because we just don’t take the time. We don’t have the time to give in many cases. I’m all about finding ways to make this plan doable in a busy household. With that being said I bring you this SUPER EASY meal.
Easy Trim Healthy Mama Ham and Beans
If you have not read about my freezer meal theory you definitely should because if you use this for your meal this week you can EASILY be out of the kitchen in less than 30 minutes (with cleanup). For those of you that do know my theory, you also know that that means you are done with your cooking for the whole WEEK in less than 30 minutes! RUN, run, RUNNNN to the store and get these ingredients because you will love this THM E meal.
Something I struggle with on THM is E means. These are the super low fat and higher healthy carb meals. They just aren’t as appealing and do not seem to be as readily available. I mean let’s face it cheese sticks, beef sticks and nuts are so easy to throw down compared to oatmeal, quinoa, and sprouted bread. I find I get my E meals in in the morning and for snacks but not usually for big meals like lunch or dinner.
This Ham and bean meal was so easy to throw together and my family loved it. I served it with a side of veggies like broccoli or cauliflower and my favorite sprouted rolls.

Easy Ham and Beans THM E
Ingredients
- 48 Oz Great Northern Beans
- 2 lbs Boneless Extra Lean Turkey Ham I get mine at Aldi's (Photo above)
- I season with a little Greek Seasoning. You can use whatever you like even salt and pepper
Instructions

Are you ready... Grab your gallon Freezer bag and dump it all in. That's it! You're done!

To prepare thaw and heat over the stove or in the crock pot. You could also do it in the oven if that is easier for you 350 for 20-30 mins!
