I make meals for other families so each week I email out a menu and this week I got an email back saying “What are sausage balls, that sounds funny”. Well, I definitely agree but these sausage balls are something you will want to run to the kitchen and try. They are Trim Healthy Mama (THM) S- Satisfying meal and they are quick and easy.
Along with quick and easy also comes to option to stock up your freezer with this meal. This is a great one to make four pans of for your freezer cooking this week. If you use a mild sausage it’s also a GREAT meal to bless other families with. Good and healthy and my kids LOVE them!
Sausage Balls
Now I know I’ve shared sausage balls on here before but this is a different recipe and I think I actually like this one better. No offense to Brianna Thomas and her recipe but for some reason, I feel like these ones cooked up better. I do love Brianna’s cookbook and many of her recipes so definitely check her out too.
This recipe can be found in the THM cookbook on page 159. Don’t worry if you do not have the cookbook you can also use this recipe. Basically, you just throw everything together in a big bowl. You can try for as long as you want to mix that up with a spoon but I’m telling you, you need to take your rings off, wash your hands and just dig right in there! Mix that up with your hands and form them into balls. That’s it. Line them up nicely in your 9×13 pan and get ready for the compliments because this one is great.
NO Special Ingredients
A bonus for this recipe is that it does not need any special ingredients and is pretty cheap to make!
