Some nights just call for a crockpot meal. Whether it is so hot outside you don’t want to turn your stove on or you have work and field trips and sports all day. It’s just nice to come home to warm meal ready to go. This week I took my kids and father in law on a bike ride after school and coming home to a warm ready to go crock pot meal was the BEST!
Crock Pot Chicken Florentine
This is a Trim Healthy Mama (THM) meal from their first cookbook. If you have the cookbook you can find the recipe on page 46. If you do not have the cookbook this recipe is also very close to the one in the cookbook and you can follow my crock pot directions for it also.
For this Chicken Florentine recipe, I used gallon freezer bags. I started by putting the chicken in the bags and then the spinach. After that, I mixed everything else together and put it in the bag too and froze it.
When I’m ready to make it I will thaw it out and throw it in my crockpot for 5-7 hours.
You’re done
There you go make four bags of this and you can be DONE cooking for the whole week. I do this each week and my family eats warm healthy meals EACH evening and I am not ripping out my hair to make it happen. Join us each week and transform dinner time!
