It’s no lie I’m loving this new cookbook I have called Trim Healthy Table. It’s full of healthy great Family friendly recipes and I couldn’t be happier with. I love when I can feed my family good food and it’s even better when they have no idea it’s so good for them.
Tasty Lazy Chicken Alfredo Lasagna
Another thing I always want to share with you is the easiest and fastest way to make up a recipe. Sometimes I can get overwhelmed by a recipe when I look at all the directions. Then I think about all the mess and time and before you know it I’ve worried more than the time it would have taken me to make the whole meal!
Again don’t stop reading if you don’t have the cookbook here is a similar recipe you can print off from home!
Putting that aside I want to share some tips for this recipe that can be found in the Trim Healthy Table Cookbook on page 124. Otherwise known as just Lazy Chicken Lasagna but I think it tastes like alfredo. Here are a few tips to make this recipe go fast so makeup four and be done with your cooking for the week!
- The first thing I did was cook the chicken in my crockpot. I throw this in there in the morning with a little water and when I get back from the gym and put the kids down for naps, it’s all ready for me. It’s also so juicy and easy to work with.
- I chopped up the celery pretty thin in my food processor and then added it to the butter. After that was done I didn’t add the chicken to that mix I just started layering it in my pans.
- The last thing I did to make this easier is use fresh spinach. There is not thawing and more importantly no squeezing for 800 days. Just laying it on there fresh and you are good to go!
Enjoy
